My first visit and I had an amazing time. From the hostess at the door to the server, to the general manager, to the owner…professional service at its best!! Everyone was so attentive to every need. The drinks were everything. Try their multi-flavored lemon drops. I chose peach with vodka and one with tequila…or was it two ❤️❤️❤️ The menu options will have you indecisive but no matter what you choose, you’ll love it. I got the blackened shrimp Cajun pasta and it was worthy of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The vibe is chill. The decor is fresh and modern. I’ve found a new spot!!!
For obvious reasons, I’m skeptical about new restaurants in Atlanta with lots of rules and regulations. Rules posted out front gave me pause. Got inside and it’s very nicely decorated. A bit small, but they’ve made the space work. Food was delicious. I had lobster bites and a cinnamon swirl waffle. Again, delicious! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and drinks. Service was good but as it got busier, I think our server was a bit overwhelmed. She was great though. Definitely planning on coming back (I was there for brunch) for bingo, karaoke and happy hour!
This was my 1st time here and it was my wife’s 3rd. It was Saturday night and the ambiance was very nice. Music wasn’t too loud and it was a nice groove. And it wasn’t super crowded which is important to me. Everybody from the door host to the waiter was extremely friendly. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 for service because I did have to flag down my waiter for additional service and dessert. She was super nice though and by no means is the service bad. It’s still really good.
The foot was 9/10.. my wife had the lamb chops, & Brussels sprouts. I had the elevated 3 combo of wings, salmon bites and vegetable egg rolls. .. We shared a Mac n cheese and dessert. Everything tasted amazing. To me the star was the salmon bites. .. ohhh weeee boy!!!
My wife had a black girl Magic to drink and I had the Smokey old fashioned. The presentation was super dope as they bring it out in a box full of smoke. I didn’t taste my wife’s drink but my old fashioned was 10/10. And I’m a bourbon guy and I know when folks don’t know how to mix a drink.
Everything was a tad bit pricey for me but I’m kinda cheap sand life is just expensive right now. I was happy to support local business and the owner is doing a great job with this establishment.
They have a happy hour as well and I definitely will come and check that out next.
Made reservations (recommended) and Went here for a cousin date and glad we did! Great food with a grown and sexy vibe. The gm and waitstaff for very welcoming. The service was great! We ate so may appetizers for happy hour that we were too full to eat dinner but everything was great!
R&B has me in a chokehold so anytime I can hear R&B I am there. On Fridays, they have R&B Karaoke. They have happy hour from 5-8pm. I got the tequila lemon drop (flavors mango and blueberry). The flavor is $1 extra. I actually fell in love with the blueberry flavor. That was my first time trying that flavor. I also got the buffalo lemon pepper cauliflower wings and fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The cauliflower wings had me thinking I was eating boneless wings. I was so excited to try the fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. But it was a bit of a let down. I would definitely not order that again. The waitress did forget to put on my order of fries but that just made me think I didnt need them. Besides that the service was good. The DJ was good also. My check included an entertainment fee and I have never seen that on a check before. That fee gave me a pause. This made me rethink coming back.
A hidden gem! The food was great. I did not order a cocktail, but guests around me had some amazing looking cocktails they said the taste was delicious. I believed them, because they ordered more than one. People in their party sampled the drink and ordered one for themselves.
The environment was relaxed. The music was chilled. Super great place.
It was my birthday and a good friend invited me to dinner here. I live in the area literally 1.3 miles away but had never heard of it.
This is a black owned restaurant that also serves as a lounge. It is on the same street as the Fire Department just across the street.
The decor is very cozy and intimate. Black table cloths on table along with a candle. We were seated very quickly. Although we went on a Saturday around 7:30, we didn't need reservations. We tried to make a reservation but they wanted a credit card. Our server took our drink orders and he also brought us a small container of popcorn to nibble while we were waiting for our food.
As with most new restaurants there is no paper/hard copy menu. You have to scan a QR code to being up the selections. I understand the advancement of technology and the ability to change the menu online. However some eyes need to see it on paper.
What we ordered:
Sides and Appetizers
Fried Green Tomatoes (4) $12 served with house made remoulade sauce. This was a miss. I had high hopes because Fried Green Tomatoes is usually a hit. 4 pieces of tomato that was mushy in the inside and lacked any flavor. They were pretty small and at $3 a slice it just wasn't worth it.
Fried Brussels $8 💯
I will try Brussels no matter where I go as long as they are fresh and not steamed. These were so good. I didn't want it to end.
Entrees
Aye Tea Elle Burger $18 💯
Our handcrafted "beef" burger topped with cheddar or monterey jack, served on a grilled brioche bun topped with with lettuce, grilled onions, tomato, & applewood smoked bacon with french fries and secret sauce. This is a win! The burger tasted home made with fresh ground round meat. Nice well out together burger and the secret sauce was so good on the fresh cut fries.
Red Snapper Filet $35 💯
Pan Seared or Fried
Topped with Caribbean Salsa served over rice pilaf & plantains. This was another hit. My fried ordered it fried. Beautiful plate of fish and peppers. It also had a slightly sweet taste of the peppers mixed with the fish. Chef's kiss. So very good.
Dessert
Butta Love 9
Butter Pound Cake with Caramel Drizzle. This was ordinary cake. Nothing fancy or significant about the taste. I love cake but this just didn't hit for me.
Yoni's Famous Bread Pudding 12
topped with Ice Cream & Caramel Drizzle. My friend said it was delicious and enjoyed it.
My first time here my niece invited me to her birthday day brunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. My sister Trina ate all her food to the bone. Highly Recommend
